COTA Films is a Los Angeles-based independent film production company founded by producer Michael Costigan, former President of Scott Free Productions (Ridley and Tony Scott's company). The company is known for producing critically acclaimed independent and prestige films across drama and thriller genres, including projects associated with Sony Pictures via a first-look deal.
