About
Cinema Gypsy Productions is a Burbank-based television and film production company founded in 2000 by Academy Award-nominated actor Laurence Fishburne and his longtime manager and producing partner Helen Sugland. The company is best known for producing the critically acclaimed ABC comedy series black-ish and its spinoffs grown-ish and mixed-ish, as well as Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur for Disney Channel/Disney+, which won five Children's and Family Emmy Awards. Cinema Gypsy has held overall/first-look deals with CBS Paramount, and ABC Studios, and continues to develop projects across broadcast, cable, and streaming platforms.
