Chu Studios

Chu Studios Productions, Inc. (operating under the banner 'Electric Somewhere') is the multimedia production company of award-winning filmmaker Jon M. Chu, best known for directing Crazy Rich Asians, In the Heights, and the blockbuster Wicked two-part film adaptation. Incorporated in California in December 2013, the company develops and produces feature films and television projects across multiple genres. As of January 2, 2026, the company is based on the Paramount Pictures lot under a three-year first-look deal with Paramount Pictures and Paramount Television Studios.
