CBS Films

CBS Films Inc. was an American film production and distribution company founded in 2007 as a subsidiary of CBS Corporation and operated as a mini-major studio through 2019. Originally established to develop, finance, produce, and market theatrical motion pictures across all genres, the studio released approximately 35 films including critically acclaimed titles such as 'Hell or High Water,' 'Inside Llewyn Davis,' 'The Woman in Black,' 'Five Feet Apart,' and 'Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark.' After its final theatrical release (Jexi) on October 11, 2019, CBS Films was folded into CBS Entertainment Group and reconfigured to produce TV films for CBS All Access (now Paramount+); following the ViacomCBS merger in December 2019, its film library passed to Paramount Pictures.
