Casa 0101 Theater

CASA 0101 Theater is a nonprofit community theater and arts organization located in the Boyle Heights Artist District of Los Angeles, founded in 2000 by playwright Josefina López (author of Real Women Have Curves). It is one of the only professional stages serving East Los Angeles and is nationally recognized for productions centered on Latinx identity, social justice, and community storytelling. The organization operates a fully-equipped 99-seat mainstage theater with an art gallery (the Jean Deleage Gallery) and a secondary venue called 'Little Casa,' and offers year-round free arts education classes for youth and low-cost classes for adults.
