Carol Goldwasser Casting

Carol Goldwasser Casting was the sole-proprietor casting office of veteran independent casting director Carol Goldwasser (1957–2024), who specialized in youth-oriented comedy for television, primarily for Disney Channel and Nickelodeon. Over more than two decades in Los Angeles and New York, she was best known for casting landmark kids' series including Hannah Montana, Austin & Ally, Dog with a Blog, and Cousins for Life. Goldwasser was a two-time CSA Artios Award winner with twelve nominations and a Heller Award nominee for Television Casting Director of the Year; she retired in 2019 and passed away on December 5, 2024, at the age of 67.
