About

Burn the Floor Productions is the world's premier ballroom and Latin theatrical dance touring company, founded by Australian producer Harley Medcalf. Since its inception in 1997 — inspired by a performance at Elton John's 50th birthday party — the company has toured more than 130 countries, headlined Broadway's Longacre Theatre (2009–2010) and London's West End (Shaftesbury Theatre), and maintains a long-running residency aboard Norwegian Cruise Line ships. The production is celebrated for fusing competitive ballroom and Latin technique with the energy of a rock concert, featuring international champion dancers, live musicians, and vocalists.
