Buena Vista International (Brazil)

Buena Vista International (Brazil) is the Brazilian theatrical film distribution label of The Walt Disney Company, operating under Disney's Latin American division and headquartered in São Paulo's Brooklin Paulista district. It distributes Disney, Pixar, Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures titles in Brazilian cinemas, and also releases locally produced Brazilian films not destined for a global Disney+ release. The label was rebranded as Star Distribution in November 2022 before being revived on January 29, 2026, when Disney retired the Star brand across Latin America in favor of the Hulu brand name, with Star Original Productions absorbed back into the relaunched BVI label. The company's Brazilian entity (CNPJ 73.042.962/0001-87) has been active since November 1993.
