Brontë Film and Television is a London-based UK production company founded in 2012 by J.K. Rowling and her literary agent Neil Blair as a vehicle to adapt Rowling's novels and related literary properties for film and television. Best known for producing the long-running BBC One/HBO crime drama series C.B. Strike (adapted from Robert Galbraith's novels) and The Casual Vacancy, the company is currently co-producing the highly anticipated Harry Potter television series for HBO and Warner Bros. Television. Led by CEO Ruth Kenley-Letts, Brontë operates alongside its sister company Snowed-In Productions and has a track record of BAFTA-nominated prestige drama.
