BritBox

BritBox is a subscription video-on-demand streaming service offering the largest collection of British TV content available in North America and Australia, including dramas, comedies, mysteries, documentaries, and soaps from the BBC, ITV, and other UK broadcasters. Originally a joint venture between BBC Studios and ITV, the service launched in the US in March 2017 and was fully acquired by BBC Studios in 2024 for approximately £255M. BritBox also commissions original programming and co-productions, and now operates alongside BBC Select as part of BBC Studios' direct-to-consumer business in North America. It serves markets in the US, Canada, Australia, and several Scandinavian countries.
