Bravo (legally Bravo Media, LLC) is an American basic cable television network owned by NBCUniversal, a division of Comcast, launched on December 8, 1980. Originally focused on fine arts and film, the network now primarily programs reality content targeting adults 25–54, women, and the LGBTQ community, and is best known for franchises including The Real Housewives, Top Chef, Below Deck, and The Traitors. Under Frances Berwick, Bravo consistently ranks as the dominant unscripted cable network, with 6 of the top 10 cable reality shows; it was notably retained by NBCUniversal (alongside NBC, Peacock, and Telemundo) when most other cable networks were spun off into the separate Versant entity in 2024–2025, due to its critical role as a content feeder for the Peacock streaming service.
