Bawn Television

Bawn Television (operating as BawnTV) is a Black-owned independent production company and online streaming network founded by Anthony Newsome-Bawn, focused on delivering original scripted series and films centered on the Black LGBTQ+ community. The company produced original web series including 'Cheetah in August' (available on Amazon Prime and Vimeo) and 'Conframa' (distributed via HereTV), and was recognized at Outfest 2017 where founder Anthony Bawn received the Special Programming Award for Best Emerging Talent. As of December 31, 2019, the Bawn Television streaming platform was acquired by VIM Media LLC, with Anthony Bawn continuing as a developing partner at VIM Media's WatchVIM platform.
