April Webster & Associates is a Santa Monica–based casting company founded by Emmy Award–winning casting director April Webster, CSA. The firm casts for film, television, theater, and interactive/digital media, and is best known for long-running collaborations with director J.J. Abrams on franchises including Star Trek, Star Wars, Alias, Lost, and Fringe, as well as broadcast hits such as Criminal Minds and Bates Motel. Webster has been nominated for thirteen Artios Awards and has won three, and holds affiliations with the Casting Society of America (CSA), the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (ATAS), and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS).
