American Greetings

American Greetings Entertainment was the intellectual property, entertainment, and outbound licensing division of American Greetings Corporation, operating out of Los Angeles, CA. The company owned and developed multi-platform entertainment franchises based on iconic children's brands including Care Bears, Holly Hobbie, Madballs, Buddy Thunderstruck, and Tinpo. It produced original animated and live-action content for platforms including Netflix and Hulu, and co-produced with studios such as Stoopid Buddy Stoodios and Aircraft Pictures. In August 2018, following the sale of a majority stake in American Greetings Corporation to Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, the entertainment division was spun off by the Weiss family as a standalone company rebranded as Cloudco Entertainment.
