Alternative Studio

Universal Television Alternative Studio (UTAS) is a division of Universal Studio Group (NBCUniversal/Comcast), operating as a global supplier of broad, premium unscripted programming and formats. Founded in 2016, the studio develops and produces game shows, competition programs, true crime, documentaries, and docuseries, and is known for series with A-list talent such as 'Baking It,' 'The Wall,' 'Hollywood Game Night,' and 'That's My Jam.' The studio also creates hit formats replicated worldwide, with properties sold into dozens of international territories, and maintains a UK production arm that has subsumed Made in Chelsea producer Monkey.
