A Penny For Your Thoughts Entertainment is the multimedia production company of Emmy-nominated, Peabody Award-winning, and Golden Globe-winning writer-director-producer Prentice Penny, best known as showrunner of HBO's acclaimed comedy series 'Insecure.' The company develops, produces, and directs scripted comedy and drama, unscripted/documentary content, and feature films, and is presently housed under a multi-year, eight-figure overall deal with Disney General Entertainment's Onyx Collective, with projects primarily distributed on Hulu. In addition to its core productions, the company also mentors emerging BIPOC storytellers through its 'First Up' program in partnership with the USC School of Cinematic Arts.
