About

A Noise Within (ANW) is a leading regional classical theatre company based in Pasadena, California, founded in 1991 by co-artistic directors Geoff Elliott and Julia Rodriguez-Elliott. The company is one of only a handful of theatres in North America operating with a resident acting company in rotating repertory, presenting world-class productions of Shakespeare, Molière, Ibsen, Chekhov, and other classic playwrights in its state-of-the-art 324-seat venue. In addition to its mainstage productions, ANW runs extensive education programs serving over 18,000 Southern California students annually. Hailed by the Los Angeles Times as 'an oasis for those who love classic stories,' it is widely regarded as one of the premier classical theatre operations in the Los Angeles region.
