About

606 Films is a Los Angeles–based production company launched in 2014 by Oscar-winning actress Halle Berry and her producing partner Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas. The company is named after California Senate Bill 606, the anti-paparazzi legislation that Berry championed to protect the children of celebrities from aggressive shutterbugs. The shingle was formed around Berry's deal to co-executive produce and star in the CBS series Extant, with a stated mission to produce 'socially conscious' film and television content. Notable productions include the feature film Kidnap (2017) and the BET+ series Boomerang (2019–2020).
