26th Street Pictures

26th Street Pictures (formerly 1492 Pictures, 1994–2023) is an American feature film production company co-founded by director Chris Columbus, producer Michael Barnathan, and producer Mark Radcliffe. The company is best known for producing major franchise and studio films including the first two Harry Potter films, the Night at the Museum series, The Help (Oscar-nominated for Best Picture), and Netflix's Chupa (2023) and The Thursday Murder Club (2025). Operating under a multi-year first-look deal with Netflix, the company is currently in pre-production on Gremlins 3 for Warner Bros. (November 19, 2027), with Columbus directing and principal photography scheduled to begin August 1, 2026.
