Nicholas (Nick) Cole holds degrees in Philosophy and Law and has enjoyed a successful career across both the creative and legal sides of the film and television industry. He began as an editor on films including Strictly Ballroom and Green Card, before directing episodes of Water Rats. Returning to law in 2002, he worked with the Film Finance Corporation Australia and later DLA Piper, specialising in media and entertainment law. In 2013, Nick founded Cole Media & Entertainment Law, combining his legal expertise with his work as a producer. His credits include producing Last Ride and acting as Production Counsel on major films such as Mel Gibson's Oscar-nominated Hacksaw Ridge, Russell Crowe's The Water Diviner and television programs such as The Tourist and Boy Swallows Universe. With decades of experience across production, financing and legal affairs, Nick offers clients a unique blend of industry insight, creative understanding and specialist entertainment law expertise.
