I am a Malaysian producer and production executive with over 31 years of experience across feature films, television commercials, documentaries, and international production services. I began my career at Axis Films and went on to work on major international productions filmed in Malaysia, including the Hollywood feature Entrapment starring Sean Connery and Catherine Zeta-Jones, as well as Rogue Trader starring Ewan McGregor and Anna Friel. Since 2000, I have specialised in facilitating international productions throughout Asia, supporting clients across Malaysia and the wider region. In 2019, I founded FilmEuro in Munich, Germany, becoming one of the first Malaysian producers to establish and operate a production company in Germany, with the aim of fostering creative exchange and production collaboration between Asia and Europe. Today, as the Founder of FilmAsia, I am focused on building an integrated film ecosystem that connects production, talent development, and infrastructure across ASEAN. My vision is to position Malaysia as a leading creative hub for the region while creating pathways for Southeast Asian stories and talent to reach global audiences.
