Brian C. Hailes is an award-winning illustrator, author, designer, animator, and creative director whose work spans publishing, fine art, animation, and visual storytelling. Through his independent studio, Image Island Studios, he serves as creator, producer, designer, and animator of the animated children's series Tryp, blending imaginative storytelling with expressive character animation. Over the course of his career, Hailes has written and illustrated more than 60 books and graphic novels, created thousands of illustrations and fine art pieces, and contributed artwork to projects for publishers including American Girl and Arcana Comics. His artwork has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious L. Ron Hubbard Illustrators of the Future Award, and has been featured in multiple editions of Infected by Art. Today, he continues to create original artwork, develop animated productions, and publish books while inspiring audiences through compelling stories and imaginative worlds.
