Vertical Entertainment

Vertical (formerly Vertical Entertainment) is an American independent film distribution and production company founded in 2012 by Rich Goldberg and Mitch Budin, headquartered in Santa Monica, California. The company releases films across all mediums — theatrical, video on demand, physical media, and streaming — with a slate that has grown to more than 80 releases per year, including 10–15 dedicated theatrical titles annually. Originally known as a VOD specialist, Vertical has evolved into a respected theatrical player, acquiring commercially focused mid-tier indie films with recognizable casts and increasingly landing award-contending titles from major film festivals.
