Founded in 2007 by directors Henry Joost and Ariel 'Rel' Schulman, Supermarché (legally SM FILM, INC.) is a New York City-based full-service production company and occasional ad agency. The company is best known for producing and directing the landmark documentary Catfish (Sundance 2010), the Paranormal Activity franchise entries, and Netflix's Project Power (2020) and Paramount+'s #1 original film Secret Headquarters (2022). In addition to feature films, Supermarché has created award-winning commercials and campaigns for global brands including Gucci, Nike, Google, Toyota, Chanel, and Vogue, operating in partnership with Moxie Pictures for U.S. commercial representation.
