June Pictures

June Pictures was a filmmaker-driven American independent production company founded in 2016 by CEO Alex Saks (formerly of ICM Partners) and Chairman Andrew Duncan, focused on producing and financing feature-length narrative and documentary films in the $5–10 million range. The company earned significant industry attention by debuting at the Sundance Film Festival with three films simultaneously, and went on to produce acclaimed titles including The Florida Project (which earned an Academy Award nomination), Thoroughbreds, Wildlife, and Book Club. Following sexual misconduct allegations against co-founder Andrew Duncan in late 2017, Saks assumed sole ownership, but the company shut down in 2018. Its successor company, Page Fifty-Four Pictures, was subsequently launched by Alex Saks.
