Halfire Entertainment

Halfire Entertainment is a Toronto- and Los Angeles-based production and financing company founded in 2013 by veteran TV executive Noreen Halpern. The company develops, produces, and finances long-form and limited television series for the U.S., Canadian, and international marketplace, employing non-traditional financing models to achieve straight-to-series orders. Halfire is best known for co-producing the Emmy-nominated Netflix/CBC limited series Alias Grace (based on Margaret Atwood's novel) and the Netflix sci-fi series Another Life, and has the ability to function as both a studio and production company across its slate.
