Confluential Films is an award-winning, Black-owned and Black-founded film, television, and documentary production company and financier based in Los Angeles, founded by multi-hyphenate filmmaker Tommy Oliver. The company develops, produces, and finances across film, TV (scripted and unscripted), audio, documentaries, and docuseries, and exclusively finances works from creators of color. Notable credits include the Emmy- and Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning Going to Mars: The Nikki Giovanni Project (HBO), Apple TV+'s Fancy Dance starring Lily Gladstone, Netflix's The Perfect Find, and the groundbreaking OWN docuseries Black Love. The company also operates the genre horror label New Fear Unlocked Productions and the media brand Black Love, Inc.
